Friday night water project

On Friday nights in Stamford, some young people go out and drink too much alcohol. Alcohol dehydrates the body. So, in a very non judgemental way, The Stamford Salvation Army Church goes out on Friday nights, handing out free bottles of water to kids that have had too much alcohol to drink.

Church

Pete arrived in Stamford on the 1st September, 2006. The Salvation Army Church in Stamford consisted of 12 x 75 year olds. God gave Pete a fabulous vision for the growth of His church in Stamford. The Church membership doubled in size in 8 months (12 to 25), and we now average above 30 on Sundays.

We worship at The Casterton Business and Enterprise College, Ryhall Rd, Casterton at 10:30am on Sunday mornings.

Vision
At The Stamford Salvation Army Church, we exist to save souls, grow saints and serve suffering humanity. We do this through presenting the gospel in the most effective way possible.

We put a lot of effort into our Sunday worship, and it truly is great fun. With high tech audio visuals, video clips, and a fun interactive style, this is truly all age worship.

Opportunities
We currently need a drummer and a bass guitarist.
